Waste-to-energy processing lines
As Comerc, in cooperation with a renowned American technology partner, we offer innovative waste-processing lines based on the TRU 4000 system. This is a fully integrated solution that safely and ecologically converts a wide range of waste—including municipal, organic, industrial, medical, wood waste, plastics and tyres—into electricity, heat or steam.
TRU 4000 system – our flagship solution
A one-of-a-kind line in Poland, TRU 4000 is a mobile pyrolysis unit (thermal conversion via pyrolytic gasification) based on a U.S. patent (US 6,758,150), capable of processing up to 48 tons of waste per day into electric power (2.5–5.5 MW/h) and biochar.
Who is it for?
Municipalities, waste-to-energy plants, utility companies and industrial enterprises dealing with:
– high landfill and disposal costs,
– strict emission standards (EU, EPA),
– problematic waste streams (medical waste, tyres, sewage sludge).
This solution is designed for organisations and public institutions looking for efficient waste-management systems and investing in renewable energy.
Key aspects of the TRU 4000 system
- Thermal-decomposition technology
The TRU 4000 uses pyrolysis—thermal conversion in an oxygen-free environment—which minimizes harmful emissions and recovers nearly 100% of the calorific value of the processed waste. - Efficient energy production
The line processes up to 6 tons of waste per hour, generating 2.5–4 MW of electricity—enough to power 5,000–10,000 households. - Waste reduction
TRU 4000 reduces waste mass and volume by up to 95%, drastically lowering the amount requiring further disposal. - Versatile waste processing
The system handles a wide range of materials: plastics, municipal waste, organics, industrial waste, medical waste, tyres and even oil-field residues. It can be customised to specific feedstock types and client requirements.
- Automation, control and operational efficiency
An advanced PLC control system ensures complete oversight of every stage, minimal operator intervention and highly reliable operation. Continuous 24/7 operation ensures maximum efficiency. - Mobility and flexibility
The installation may operate as a stationary unit or a mobile trailer-mounted system. This enables relocation between sites and on-site processing wherever the waste occurs. - Ecological compliance
TRU 4000 meets stringent emission standards set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and Polish law. The solution is environmentally safe and community-friendly. - Safety
The installation includes safety systems, such as an explosion-prevention spark-detection and extinguishing system.
Benefits for you – why TRU 4000 is the best choice
- Guaranteed return on investment
ROI within 3–5 years thanks to energy sales and available funding programmes (e.g., GreenEvo). - Efficient waste management
The ability to process diverse waste streams and significantly reduce residual mass makes TRU 4000 a universal tool for municipalities and businesses. - Sustainable development
TRU 4000 supports environmental goals by producing green energy and reducing greenhouse-gas emissions. - Green-energy production
Waste becomes a source of clean energy, supporting circular-economy principles and environmental protection. - Cost reduction
Lower landfill usage and on-site energy production reduce operational expenses. The trailer version (15.2 m) can eliminate illegal dumpsites within 72 hours.
- Brand and community reputation
Investment in cutting-edge ecological technologies strengthens your organisation’s public image. - End-to-end support
We provide full service—from design and equipment supply to installation, commissioning and technical support. - Customisation
Systems are available in stationary or mobile versions, with different throughput capacities depending on client needs. - Regulatory compliance
The TRU 4000 system meets all waste-processing regulations under Polish law (Minister of Environment Regulation 2016) and EU directives (WPGO), helping you avoid penalties for landfilling.
Additional information
Everything about waste-processing lines
How does the TRU 4000 waste-processing system work?
– Sorting and preparation: waste is pre-segregated and shredded to remove undesired materials (metals, stones).
– Drying: wet feedstock is dried using waste heat generated during pyrolysis.
– Thermal conversion: pyrolysis at 1000°C in a zero-oxygen environment (no NO₂/SO₂ emissions).
– Energy production: syngas powers steam turbines producing electrical or thermal energy.
– Energy recovery: syngas → electricity for up to 10,000 households.
– Zero waste: biochar is packed into briquettes (150×60 mm) or used as fertilizer.
TRU 4000 vs Traditional methods
| Parameter | TRU 4000 | Incineration / other methods |
|---|---|---|
| Emissions | Zero (ATEX, EPA compliant) | Dioxins, ash, high penalties |
| Cost of disposing 1 ton | Up to 70% lower | Rising landfill and disposal fees |
| Flexibility | Mobile, modular | Stationary only |
