How pellet coolers work?
Pellet coolers operate by drawing in air that cools the freshly formed pellets. Air is pulled through slots positioned around the cooler chamber, ensuring even and efficient cooling. Mechanical coolers draw air through the product layer, while subsequent batches are fed through an inlet valve.
The discharge mechanism, equipped with a triple grate, releases the cooled product into the discharge chute. In hydraulic coolers, the mechanism works similarly, except one of the cooling grates is powered hydraulically rather than by an eccentric drive. Using pellet coolers significantly reduces energy consumption and lowers production costs.
