Material Preparation System for Pelletizing (UPMdG)
The UPMdG material preparation system is our proprietary solution designed to stabilize and maintain the moisture content of the material fed into the pelletizing section at ±0.5%, as well as to dose the correct amount of binder (e.g., corn flour). Both factors have a significant impact on improving the physicochemical properties of the final product.
Stable moisture levels and proper binder dosing are crucial for achieving and maintaining high-quality pellet parameters such as calorific value, hardness, mechanical durability, ash content after combustion, and dust content in the granulate. Correct hydration and consistent moisture control greatly facilitate the densification and bonding of material particles into pellets, ensuring a uniformly high-quality granulate.
The system consists of a buffer tank, screw feeder, measuring screw conveyor, conditioner, water dosing system with automatic moisture measurement and stabilization, a pressure-maintaining water station, an additive dosing unit, a bucket elevator, and a supporting structure. The UPMdG is fully automated and equipped with appropriate sensors that control its operation.
